George passed away peacefully at the Mary Potter Nursing Home early on Boxing Day. George spent his early days at Morven, and later at Ladysmith (1954 – 2003) and Turvey Park.

Treasured, much loved and loving husband of Therese (dec 2018), for over 68 years. Cherished father and father in law of Peter (dec 2015) and Margaret, Margaret and Mark, Dianne and Jerry and Judy and Michael. Adored Pop of Julie and Kane, Lorraine, Suzie and Georgie. Loved Great Pop of Jessica, Kaitlin, Zoe and Amy.

Great brother and brother in law to Gertie and Ernie Barrett (both dec), Alice and Wal Bownds (both dec), Jane and Lindsay Smith (both dec), Lorna and Nev Raufers (both dec), Bill McNuff (dec), Leo and Jill (dec) McNuff, Gordon and Nancy McNuff (both dec), Norman and Shirley McNuff (both dec), and Leane, Dot and Frank (dec) McIntyre and Kenny and Pauline (dec) McNuff.

And on the Mullins side, loved brother and brother-in-law to Marie, Doreen (dec), Max and Joan Mullins (both dec), Pauline and Kevin Nippard (both dec), Tom (dec) and Josie Mullins, Nellie and Kevin (dec) McIntyre, Kitty and Brian (dec) McSweeney,Lea (dec), Jimmy (dec) and Margaret (dec) and Thea Mullins, and Neta and Brian Lawson.

Loving Uncle, Great Uncle and Great-Great Uncle to many.

George treasured his family and cherished his many wonderful friends. He cared for his community, had a big heart and a great gift for appreciating life even when the going got tough; he loved a good yarn, a cold beer and a winning tip. He will hold a special place in the hearts of  many.

Our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Mary Potter Nursing Home. Their untiring love and support for George during the last eight years has been outstanding. It is so much appreciated.

A Service of Prayers for the Repose of the Soul of George Edward McNuff will be held in St Michael’s Cathedral, Church Street, Wagga Wagga on Monday, 4th January 2021 commencing at 2:00pm Following the Service the funeral cortege will leave for the Wagga Wagga Lawn Cemetery, Brunskill Road, Lake Albert. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Forrest Centre, Wagga Wagga.
