Passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, 23rd August 2022, aged 74 years. Devoted and beloved husband of Carol. Loving Pa and dad of Kathy & Mick Carey, Kerry & Gerard Leary, Shannon, Jodie & Damien, and Scott. Best and proudest Gramps of Chloe, Gemma & Brad, Alissa & Connor, Mitchell, Teagan & Adam, Morgan & Kyle, Bayden & Jesse, Emerson, Abbey, Jorja and Pippa. Amazing great-Gramps of Cohen, Iluka and Levi, Hudson, Billy and Halle, Iona and Kade, and Harper. Loved son of Joseph (dec’d) & Ivy (dec’d). Son-in-law of Jack & Molly Rutland. Friends that became family; Tanya & Mark, Libby (dec’d) & Greg, Scott & Mez, Matt & Nicole. Loved by his many brothers and sisters. His little mates; Freddy and Cleo.

A graveside service in celebration for the life of Joey will be held at the Coolamon Cemetery on Friday, 2nd September 2022 commencing at 2:30pm. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations towards the Coolamon Hospital will be accepted at the cemetery.
