Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital on Sunday, 24th March 2024, aged 88 years. Beloved wife of Maxwell (dec’d). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Stephen & Jennifer, Robert, Kevin (dec’d), Bruce & Dianne, Jack & Julie and David. Cherished Granny, great grandmother and great-great grandmother to all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Shirley was the last of the 13 Skeers children. Shirley will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
A service of celebration for the life and love of Shirley Thackeray will be held at the Wagga Wagga Lawn Cemetery Chapel, Brunskill Road, Lake Albert on Thursday, 4th April 2024 commencing at 2:00pm. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
